Hi my name is Brandon Way and I am the Youth Director at CTK.  I have been involved in youth ministry for five years.  I graduated Fallbrook High School in 1999 and went on to graduate from Biola University.  I coach football and baseball at the high school; and in my spare time I love to surf, snowboard and golf.  I have been blessed to marry the most incredible woman who is carrying our first child.  Our boy will pop out in February. 

I feel very fortunate to work in youth ministry with this generation.  The Jr. High and High School students of today are full of missionaries, evangelist, and unselfish teenagers.  These students today have a huge heart for the sick, the elderly, the hungry, and the unfortunate.  We have a group of kids at CTK who are actively involved in taking food and blankets to the homeless.  They make gifts for the elderly.  We take trips to Mexico and have now found a large passion for missionary trips to South Africa. 

Tuesday nights are our High School nights.  The Holy Grounds coffee shop opens at 5:30 pm and Access starts at 7:00 pm.  We worship, teach straight from God’s Word, and end the night with either dodgeball or basketball.  Thursday night, at 6:00 pm, is Jr. High Confirmation and Blowout.  The kids are taught the important principles of their faith and after class we play random games and dodgeball.  During the summer months Tuesday night worship is held at the beach, and Thursday nights are pools parties.  Monday nights we have our small groups, where we go through different video series.  Every month our youth have an S.O.S day, a Serve Our Society day where we do service projects around San Diego County. 

We have a great group of youth workers and volunteers.  We spend a lot of time with your kids, and I would trust my kids with these incredible youth workers any day.  They have a strong knowledge of the Bible, and they all have very soft hearts.  God’s surrounded your kids with some loving people.
